But how about its concepts? Looking bland over there even if it tries to be creative. Like I said, the atmosphere is going to be loud enough to where I feel rather annoyed rather than amused. #Ed edd n eddy sound effects roller coaster series#Since the series is meant to be comedic, I don’t think the series is going to be funny as it should. I mean, yeah, the whole atmosphere is supposed to feel like kids produced the series, which may come to think if I could withstand the loud voice acting and such. What I mean is that by listening to the theme song and viewing the animation style, I bet it’s going to be overly obnoxious, but the animation style does look nice, though. …the REAL deal is that it’s a show that I couldn’t get into. In concept, they’re quite similar, but that’s not the issue I have with Stickin’ Around at first… For the episode, it’s Cartoon Network that brought Lee’s imagination to an episode of their shows and here, it’s Stacy and Bradley bringing their imaginations to life in this cartoon. What I noticed here is that both the series and “Dexter and Computress Get Mandark!” look like they’re created by a child and it somehow involves him or her’s imagination being brought to life in form of something. Stacy's overweight dog Frank and Bradley's pet chameleon Lester accompany the best buds on their adventures. With their drawings, everyday life for Stacy and Bradley can take a turn at any time and become a wild roller-coaster ride. They often use their hand-drawn adventures to help them overcome obstacles they face, whether they involve school, bullies or even their parents. The kids are able to draw their own cartoons, bringing their imaginations to life. Young best friends Stacy and Bradley have a unique ability that allows them to bring their fantasies to life. Also, I often didn’t understand what the narrator (which in this case is a boy named Tyler Samuel Lee) was saying that it pretty much adds to why I initially disliked the episode. Of course, the childish nature is the point of that episode, but even with that, I didn’t understood its purpose and it does a poor job at conveying a child’s imagination from the inconsistent animation and the environment looking rather uninteresting. There’s an episode titled “Dexter and Computress Get Mandark!” where a child created the episode and as a matter of fact, I didn’t really like it mostly due to the fact that I felt confused by it. However, there were 4 heinous episodes and one damned episode just to really show how bad the show can get.Īt first, I thought the show would consist of a bunch of mehs and middlings, but there is a decent amount of variety.īefore I talk about this show, remember my Dexter’s Laboratory scorecard? I brought that up because my thoughts on one episode from said cartoon and my first thoughts on Stickin’ Around are pretty much connected to one another. Since I’ve talked about the MEHS in a similar fashion earlier, the negatives aren’t really too bad. The rest of the GOODS, 4 of them, were almost in the MEH range, but they did fill up the top 5 list and leave it with nothing but GOOD episodes. What makes this even more shocking is that I consider “The Mucus Touch” as the only episode of the series I found very special. It’s probably just me, but the type of ratings found in this show are similar to what I’ve seen in Gadget & the Gadgetinis where both of them have a lot of episodes stranded in the middle with a handle of them ending up becoming either BAD or close to being GOOD.īut starting off with the positives, only one episode is great. And as expected, the pie chart doesn’t look very good.
